Quick shout out to your driver who picked up the recycle this morning. A vagrant had started a fire behind the trash container. Your driver, once he emptied the recycle, pickup up the trash container and moved it back and forth over the small fire and extinguished. He also shoveled out the area and threw some snow.
Above and beyond effort that is greatly appreciated.

On Tuesday of this week our Aspen Waste driver tried to make the turn with some pretty tight street parking to deal with [in a cul-de-sac with an island]. He ended up cutting across the edge of the island displacing the rocks and leaving another big muddy rut. When I gathered my garbage can I took photos of the island and proceeded to call the local branch. I was pretty upset when I made this call…
The phone was answered by Danielle. Her pleasant voice and demeanor immediately put me at ease. She asked if I wanted to talk to a supervisor right up front (unheard of!) to which I said I would let her determine if I needed to. I then explained to her what happened and expressed the frustration my neighbors and I feel with regards to the island. While I spoke, she pulled up Google Earth to see the improvements we had made on the island and be able to visually connect to the story I was telling her. She gave me her email and asked me to send her the photos I took. In parting she assured me that she would talk to management (Will/Mike), they would send someone out to look the entire situation over, and someone would get back to me soon. And I was pleased.
Soon to some companies means something entirely different to others. That’s why I was amazed that I had a voicemail response from Danielle within 20 hours! She could have text or send an email and that would have been sufficient in this day and age. But instead she reached out and placed a personal call. She explained that management had already looked at the situation, spoken to the driver, and come up with a solution that would benefit both your driver as well as us, your customers. On top of that, which if all that we really had hoped for, is the part that sets your company apart. I was told that someone would be out to out some grass seed down and straighten out the rocks up and make things right on the [cul-de-sac] island!
